I have used the EW Image Gallery for quite some time to show stamps from my stamp collection. I just noticed something strange in the slide show. At one time, the Caption title would show just under the image when I ran the slide show. I just noticed that the slide show Caption is no longer there. I do not look at this very often so I have no idea how long this has been happening. https://www.toomanyhobbies.org/_topicals/ships/stamps/shipstamps.html Is this my imagination or did the Captions really disappear? Hi Myron, With EverWeb 4.1, there have been some changes to the slideshow within the Image Gallery. As of this version, the image caption is no longer displayed within the slideshow. However, the caption will still be visible in the image gallery underneath the corresponding image. This feature was popular with people giving presentations at stamp club meetings because it identified the stamp and often the image on the stamp. It saved a lot of talking and explaining. I hope that EW 4.2 will bring back this useful feature. Thanks for the very fast reply. |

Hi Myron. Sorry for these issues. This issue should already be fixed in EverWeb 4.2. EverWeb 4.2 beta is available here to try. You will have to make a change to this page with the image gallery and re-publish or re-publish your entire site from the File menu. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
